What is Medical Receivables Factoring?
Medical Receivables Factoring is a process by which the health care provider receives an advance
of cash from one of our funders or "Factors" within 24 to 48 hours for their billings to third-party payors
(commercial insurance and government payors). Instead of physicians waiting 60 to 90 days or longer to
receive payment...our funders will wait the lenght of time to be paid on the medical receivable.
Factoring allows healthcare providers...
- To spend more time with patients and less time worrying about consistent cash flow.
- To improve the consistency of your cash flow.
- To increase the overall percentage of billings that you collect on.
- To decrease the interval between the time you provide a service and the time you are paid.
Who can benefit?
Typically any provider that bills to commercial insurance companies or government insurers. Examples
include, but are not limited to:
- General Practitioners and Specialists, such as Surgeons, Anesthesiologists and Psychiatrists
- Associated Physician Groups
- Hospitals
- Medical Centers
- Out-patient Facilities & Clinics
- Physical Therapy Groups & Clinics
- Assisted Living Facilities
- Nursing Homes
- Home Health Care Providers
- Research & Medical Laboratories
